COMRADE SOBHO PAID RICH TRIBUTES AT HIS 1ST ANNIVERSARY HELD AT SINDH HOUSE

HYDERABAD, December 10, 2015: 1st anniversary of great Sindhi scholar, intellectual and wise man of sub continent Comrade Sobho Gianchandani was observed at Sindh House here on Thursday with honor and respect. Floral wreaths were laid on his picture. Addressing the anniversary gathering chairman Sindh National Chairman, the organizer of anniversary, said that comrade Sobho was true lover of Sindh and during his love long struggle he reminded that Sindh along with being motherland was also stronghold of world peace. He was human friendly and lover of motherland. Comrade was so much in love with Sindh that he used to say that he was most fortunate person that  he was born in Sindh. During the period of Bhutto he went underground in Balochistan where he was guest of Nawab Akbar Bugti an Ataullah Mengal but refused to leave Sindhd. SNT Nari Tehrik chairperson Dr. Uzma Jokhyo said Sindh is such a fortunate land that it has given birth to great people like G.M.Syed, Sobho Gianchandani and Baba-e-Sindh Hyder Bux Jatoi.  Sindhi intellectual and editor of a Sindhi daiily Naeen Sindh Mansoor Qadir Junejo said that comrade Sobho was so much lover of Sindh that he felt proud to be called as Sindhi instead of Hindu. Abbas Kassar general secretary of Hyderabad Union of Journalists said Sobho was student of Tygore and remained follower of communist leader M.N.Roy. He always talked of Sindh and was author of many books including famous boom Maha Bharat. Najeeb Ahmed Thebo, Dr, Abida Siddiqui, Jhangi Mallah, comrade Rajab Ali, Dr. Naseem Akhtar, Akhtar Sindhi. The gathering passed number of resolutions demanding Fateh Chowk be named as  Sobho Gianchandani Chowk, to build his Samadhi and memorial in Larkana as also to rename Altaf Hussain university in Hyderabad in name of Sobho university.
